+   # cd /usr/local
+   # tar zxvf sql-ledger-2.4.x.tar.gz

+2. fix permissions
+   # chown -hR nobody:nogroup *
+   # chmod 711 templates users css spool
+
+Note: replace nobody:nogroup with your web server user and group
