  32. Description: leverage the OpenPGP web of trust for SSH and TLS authentication
  33. SSH key-based authentication is tried-and-true, but it lacks a true
  34. Public Key Infrastructure for key certification, revocation and
  35. expiration. Monkeysphere is a framework that uses the OpenPGP web of
  36. trust for these PKI functions. It can be used in both directions:
  37. for users to get validated host keys, and for hosts to authenticate
  38. users. Current monkeysphere SSH tools are designed to integrate
  39. with the OpenSSH implementation of the Secure Shell protocol.
  40. .
  41. Monkeysphere can also be used by a validation agent to validate TLS
  42. connections (e.g. https).
