  31. Description: leverage the OpenPGP web of trust for SSH and TLS authentication
  32. SSH key-based authentication is tried-and-true, but it lacks a true
  33. Public Key Infrastructure for key certification, revocation and
  34. expiration. Monkeysphere is a framework that uses the OpenPGP web of
  35. trust for these PKI functions. It can be used in both directions:
  36. for users to get validated host keys, and for hosts to authenticate
  37. users. Current monkeysphere SSH tools are designed to integrate
  38. with the OpenSSH implementation of the Secure Shell protocol.
  39. .
  40. Monkeysphere can also be used by a validation agent to validate TLS
  41. connections (e.g. https).
